Terms of Use for Busy Software Notes

What this site is

We write about accounting and business software from the perspective of people who run a small company and keep the books themselves. Everything here is our opinion, based on our own experience and on what we have seen work for businesses like ours. It is not a guarantee that any tool will do what you need. Software changes, prices change, and what fits our books may not fit yours. Check current details with the vendor before you spend money.

What you may do with our content

Read it, use it, and share it. You are welcome to quote short passages with a link back to the page you took them from. Print a guide for your own desk if that helps. What you may not do is republish whole articles or large parts of them, on a blog, in a newsletter, or anywhere else. Do not scrape this site or feed it into tools that rebuild our content elsewhere. We put real hours into this writing, and we would rather you sent people here than copied us.

Comments

Comments are open to anyone with something useful to say. Disagree with us, that is fine, and we would rather hear it directly. What we will remove: abuse, spam, obvious advertising, and anything that names a real person or company in a damaging way. We read comments when we can and we do not promise to answer every one.

Liability

We give this content as it is, with no warranty of any kind. If you act on something you read here and it costs you money, time, or a headache with your accountant, that is on you. We are not liable for any loss arising from the use of this site. Nothing here is professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. For decisions that matter, talk to a qualified professional in your own jurisdiction.
