What we own

We write everything on Busy Software Notes ourselves. The reviews and guides come out of our own work running a small company and keeping the books, so the text is ours. If you copy a page and republish it somewhere else, that is not a fair use of our time or our money.

If you hold the rights to something on the site

We would rather hear from you than have a problem grow. Tell us the exact web address of the page that concerns you, because a general complaint about the site gives us nothing we can act on. One URL per notice works best.

What your notice needs

Send us a written message that includes your name and your role, plus how we can reach you. Identify the copyrighted work you say we used. Give us the full link to the page on busy-software.com where you believe it appears, and say enough about the material that we can find it without guessing. Tell us why you believe the use is not permitted. State that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized, and that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act for them. Sign it.

Where to send it

Use the contact page on this site to reach us. It goes to the same small team that writes the pages, and it is the only route we use for these notices.

What we do next

We read every notice that reaches us. If it is missing any of the points above we will write back and ask for the rest. If it is complete and the claim looks valid, we take the material down or change it right away. We do not stall and we do not pass it to a legal department, because there is no legal department. We will confirm to you when it is done.
